Haven’t had much of a chance to update the past few days since I am moving and working as much as I can. But I’m going to combine the past few days together!

I had oatmeal with bran buds on these days. With either a banana or an apple on the side with a glass of water of course!

On Tuesday I had a hoagie for lunch. With ham and whole wheat bread and some chips. Not the best choice, but it definitely could have been worse. I skipped dinner on Tuesday, well not really, I had a bowl of rasin bran and that was it!

For Wednesday I had a chicken patty for lunch with whole wheat bread and lettuce and tomato. I had the same thing for dinner since my parents decided to get burgers for everyone. I knew for sure I didn’t want to mess up by having a burger.

Today I had raisin bran for lunch once I got home from work. Then we went out to dinner because it is my brothers birthday. I made healthy choices and stuck mainly to vegetables and chicken. We went to a Mongolian grill. Definitely very good, but very bad for your body! So I kept it as light as possible!

I definitely am feeling a lot better now. I feel lighter, and I feel happy. I like it!

I will update tomorrow once I finish with everything. I have to continue packing and sorting out stuff. I move next week!



I didn’t update this last night only cause I was so tired. But yesterday I had a GREAT first day start to my diet!!

For breakfast I had Nonfat Strawberry Banana yogurt with bran buds added to have more fiber added to it. I also had a banana and two glasses of water with it.

Then for lunch I experimented with food a bit. I had bought Barley the night before at Walmart. I made soup and added it in. In the soup I put zucchini and carrots and spices so the soup would be spicy. It came out really good. I actually liked it!

Then after lunch I had a snack which was 2 celery sticks with hummus. It was my first time trying hummus and it was delicious! I’m definitely going to have to buy some more.

Then for dinner I had a chicken salad, plain. It was really good.

Throughout the day I probably had about 10 glasses of water. Definitely going to drink more.

Then after dinner I took my dogs for a walk with my brother. Which turned into more of a jog since my dogs like to run.

So overall! GREAT first day!!! I will make an update about today later tonight!

Fresh start. Grocery list. Plans.

Okay, so some of you guys might remember me. I had a tumblr under this same name. I was doing okay with it, but I slowly started to slip away from it. And unfortunately, I started to slip away from everything health related. So now, i’m starting over again. Don’t matter how hard you fall, as long as you get up and try again right? Well, thats what i’m doing!

In a bit I will be going to the grocery store to get some good foods. A friend of mine has pretty much said everything I should and shouldn’t get. So now that I know that, I am only going to get foods that will help me, not hurt me.

In the morning I will be taking my measurements and seeing my weight. Not sure what I want my goal weight to be yet, I just know I want to feel comfortable in the body I am in. No more feeling “gross” just because I don’t feel like I look good.

So far my grocery list consists of: 

  • Apples
  • Fiber One bars 
  • Bran 
  • Chicken 
  • Fruits (variety) 
  • Vegetables (variety) 
  • Chia Seeds 
  • 3 Lean Cuisines*

*I am going to try to limit myself on Lean Cuisines only because I know they arent the best thing to eat. I’m going to try and eat fresher foods.
